I had the pleasure of meeting Jona for the first time at Lucille's Long Beach town center. We both worked there as servers. Jona and I also worked together at Claim Jumper in Fountain Valley.
One of my best memories with Jona was when we were both hired at Claim Jumper. We had to take a test in order to prove we knew the Menu. Well, the service manager sat us down at a table/booth and forgot about us. We sat there for about 10 minutes before we were looking through the menu and cheating our way into a job.
Jona also had the greatest poker nights after a long shift. Sometimes we would be up until 6 or 7 am playing cards.
The time we shared will always be treasured and I am happy to know an eternity of memories are yet to be made, as one day I will see Jona again.
